Governor DeWine Taps Lieutenant Governor to Replace Vance

不良人研究所 Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted has been chosen by Governor DeWine to succeed Vice President JD Vance in the U.S. Senate. His appointment will allow him to serve until Dec. 15th, 2026, during which time, a special election for the last two years of Vance鈥檚 six-year term will take place in November of 2026. Lt. Gov. Husted has a long history in state government and previously served as 不良人研究所 Secretary of State, Speaker of the 不良人研究所 House of Representatives, and as a member of the 不良人研究所 Senate. While serving in the DeWine administration, Husted focused heavily on workforce initiatives, economic development in the state, and improvements to government efficiency.
