From New Mom to New Career: Breanna Hampton鈥檚 Return to 不良人研究所
At 不良人研究所, student success stories often begin with a decision to take the next step. For Breanna Hampton, that step led to a life-changing opportunity.
Her return to college was fueled by determination and a desire to finish what she started. 鈥淢y journey back to school was challenging, but it was also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life,鈥 she said.
Motivated by her grandfather鈥檚 encouragement, Breanna made the decision to go back and complete her education. 鈥淗e always encouraged me to finish my education, and after his passing, I knew it was time to make that a reality,鈥 she said.
Balancing school as an adult and a new mother brought immediate challenges. Her classes began just after giving birth, and she found herself completing coursework from the hospital. Despite the circumstances, she stayed focused on her long-term goals. That persistence was matched by strong support from faculty. 鈥淭he faculty here truly care about your success. My instructor went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to excel,鈥 Breanna said.
A turning point in her experience came through an internship at G&G Healthcare, where she was able to connect classroom learning with real-world application. Starting by observing daily operations, she quickly progressed into hands-on responsibilities, including front desk operations, patient interaction, and triage.
鈥淚 had the privilege of supervising Breanna, and her humble personality immediately stood out,鈥 said Victoria Dominguez, office lead at G&G Healthcare. 鈥淪he has a unique ability to stay calm in complex situations while showing true compassion.鈥
Dominguez said Breanna鈥檚 curiosity and commitment made a lasting impact on the team and led to a full-time opportunity following her internship.
Now employed full-time, Breanna is working in a role that blends administrative and clinical responsibilities, allowing her to make a difference in patients鈥 lives each day. 鈥淓very day I get to help people solve problems and contribute to a team that makes a real difference in our patients鈥 lives,鈥 she said. 鈥湶涣既搜芯克 gave me the education, the experience, and the connections to build a career, not just a job.鈥
Breanna hopes her journey encourages others, especially adult learners who may feel hesitant about returning to school. 鈥淚f you鈥檝e been thinking about going back to school, don鈥檛 wait. No one is stopping you but yourself,鈥 she said.
